the foodbank

It’s that time of year again to start thinking about school.  St. Paul’s Food Bank traditionally gives out backpacks filled with school supplies.  The food bank has already received 30 Bentley backpacks (empty) from Feed Nova Scotia.  We have enough lined paper and pencil cases to supply an entire school, however we are asking for POCKET FOLDERS (every child needs 5, each a different colour), crayons, erasers, pencil sharpeners, scissors (short and rounded tip), rulers, pencils & pens.   I know this is quite a list but many small donations will fill 30 backpacks for our children in this community.  Thank you for your commitment to our community.

The Food Bank at St. Paul's United Church can be contacted at  (902) 477-5090. For information on how to register please click here.
Our food is supplied mainly by Feed Nova Scotia, with donations from St. Paul's congregation, and local schools and service clubs.
Our services are anonymous, feel free to check out the
Frequently Asked Questions for more information.
The Food Bank at St. Paul's is coordinated by Rena Eldershaw
